Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity’s Home
Repair program helps low-income homeowners address health and safety issues and
preserve the appearances of their homes and yards with zero-percent interest repair
loans.
Partnering with a variety of organizations, Greater Fox
Cities Area Habitat for Humanity provides the volunteers and resources needed
to repair homes at a reduced and affordable rate. Providing critical home
repairs, weatherization and exterior preservation work in partnership with
low-income homeowners, who pay for the repairs through no-interest loans.

an informational meeting or call for an appointment and complete a Home Repair
application.
What will be repaired?
Habitat for Humanity
staff will assess home repair need and develop a project plan and cost
estimate. Priority will be given to critical safety risks/code violations and
repairs pertaining to the health, safety and well-being of those living in the
home.
To qualify individuals must: Demonstrate a need for repairs, own a home within the Fox Cities Habitat service area, be the primary residence of the applicant(s) and/or
qualifying household member(s), demonstrate ability to make monthly payments to repay the
zero-percent interest repair loan and have a household income below 80% County Median Income.
Selection Criteria:
Need: The home must be in need of repair in any of these areas: Safety and code violations,structural integrity of interior or exterior and energy efficiency.
Ability to pay: Individuals must have a stable income, satisfactory credit and the ability to make a small down payment and monthly repayment at no interest.
Willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity: Individuals must complete an application, provide require documentation and participate in a home visit and Habitat meetings, work alongside volunteers when appropriate, agree to maintain home repairs and be a positive representative of Habitat for Humanity in the community and in your neighborhood.
