Utility Billing Change

Beginning January 1st 2016, the Village of Little Chute will be taking over utility billing of village utilities from Kaukauna Utilities.  In the past, the Village contracted with Kaukauna Utilities to bill storm water, water, sewer and garbage utilities.  In order to provide a more efficient billing service for all residents and rate payers, we are making this change.  Starting in January, residents of the Village of Little Chute who receive Storm water, water, sewer and garbage utility services will no longer have those charges appear on your bill from Kaukauna Utilities. Instead, you will receive a separate post-card bill from “Little Chute Utilities”.  The most important factor to consider during this change is that this will have no impact to your services.

Village staff is in the process of providing a number of different payment options for Village residents.  The goal is to provide online bill pay and other customer friendly options so that you can take advantage of these time saving payment options. Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible while still providing the best utility services possible.

You should find a door hanger on your door in the next week highlighting this change, but should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to stop by Village hall.  We will also be updating the Village website, to include FAQs and payment enrollment options.

Thank you for your patience throughout this process!

#‎DoTheRightThing Windmill Edition

FVMPD recognized a Little Chute couple, Virginia and Eugene (Virgie and Gene) Janssen for their volunteer work and dedication to the Village of Little Chute. You can find the Janssen’s almost daily directing the windmill in downtown Little Chute. Virginia and Eugene volunteer countless hours giving tours, repairing, and decorating the windmill and museum. Not only are the Janssen’s resident experts on Little Chute history, (seriously ask them any question) they also devote their time to many other great organizations in our community. Together they donate their time to Caring Hearts Carrying Meals (Meals on Wheels), Little Chute Elementary School, St. John’s Church, Little Chute Garden Club, Little Chute Athletic Association, and many others. The Janssen's were rewarded with free pizza coupons from Papa Johns Pizza.

Virginia and Eugene are looking for additional volunteers to help out in downtown Little Chute and the windmill. If you are interested in volunteering please contact them at (920) 788-2566.
